Mr. Michael Stout

I have been apart of the Haverhill community since 2003, when I married Mandy Stout, the P.E. teacher and began helping in various areas of need. In 2011, our family officially became a Haverhill family when we moved into the neighborhood. Since that time all four of our children have received  education in this building.

When we began our family, in 2004, I became a stay-at-home dad. I supplemented by interest in educating students  by working at Sylvan Learning Center. After working their for 11 years, our youngest child started school, allowing me to begin work in the school again. Teaching Title 1 and literacy allows me to learn and grow as a professional as much as it hopefully helps the students I service.

I moved around a few times in my childhood until settling in Berne, IN, and graduating from South Adams High School in 1996. After High School, I attended Ball State University where I studied and received my bachelors degree in elementary education.

When away from the duties of an educator, and not performing household chores like doing laundry, dishes, and cooking, my interest include playing sports of various kinds, watching sports, playing games with family and friends and watching movies.
